CAPAtex® is a very soft and surface-friendly material – comparable to a soft cleaning rag. The material thus presents no risk. However, friction can be caused when coarse contamination on your vehicle is not removed prior to putting on the CAPA. Before covering, we therefore recommend at least the cleaning of the windows, if necessary.
No! On the contrary. The CAPA prevents the ingress of moisture, but at the same time allows for an atmospheric exchange due to breathability. As a result a dry and -for the interior- beneficial climate in your mobile home is being facilitated.
Our products are produced in meter measurements and have a width of 2.35m. However, we do take additional extensions, such as bicycle / motorcycle racks etc., as well as an aerodynamic shape into account. Therefore our products can extend 20cm. Hence, a 6m version is actually 6.2m long, a 7m version 7.2m. In general we have constructed our products in such a way, that the access length can be folded over and lashed on the rear end, so that the CAPA can be fitted like a second skin. An “excess length” should not exceed 80cm, however. In case of doubt, please contact us. We will be happy to assist you.
