What does “water-resistant” mean?

Depending on the water pressure CAPAtex@ is, in principle, waterproof. Thus, rain drops drip off or remain on the surface. Water droplets can permeate at sewing-machine stitching areas during heavy driving rain or continuous rainfall. Therefore we do not refer to it as “waterproof”, but “water-resistant”. Generally speaking, the breathability of CAPAtex® is of much greater significance in this context. In this way the moisture beneath the CAPA protective cover can diffuse again relatively quickly.
